FESTIVAL WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Friends of the Festival,

Join us this year in a festival of adventure and discovery. New festival finds and festival commissions take their place alongside works by the most established and experienced names in the performing arts world, illuminating the highest level of artistry and creative thought. Whether dance at its sublime, theatre with grit, or music of the past today, you will find programmes that are inspiring, touching, humorous, thought-provoking, and confronting, at the same time.

Look out also for festivities outdoors at locations familiar and dear to most of us in Singapore - where we eat, where we shop, where we play, where we work, where we live, and where we commute. You will encounter roving and special performances around business districts, shopping malls, transit stations, hawker centres, neighbourhood centres, and parks, beginning with a special performance ‘on water’ at Boat Quay.

We have great pleasure in inviting you to eat, live, and breathe the Festival for four weeks this May and June. Don't be left behind!
