Transient Light Whispering Breeze

The micro universe of an urban landscape is the impetus for this subtle installation by Spanish artist Ruben Ramos Balsa and Singaporean sound artist Yuen Chee Wai. A breathy whisper, the blink of an eye; the slow germination of plants and a transient reflection passing through a patch of water – these are the movements that catalyse a ripple-effect of emerging and interacting light and sound. Tiny things are connected over great distances, and the world is re-imagined inside-out.

Presented by Curator Tay Swee Lin with the support from National Museum of Singapore and the Embassy of Spain in association with the Singapore Arts Festival
